SIDELINE SCHOOL

Together: other kids in the frame

Coach conversation, the handshake, siblings on the sideline. Mind consent — team-gallery sharing has its own flow.

How to shoot it
  1. Step 1

    Other children are not extras

A teammate handshake or a coach conversation will have other kids in frame. That is fine in your private vault. Team-gallery sharing is a separate consent, per team, and it is their parent’s to give — never assume a good photo is a shareable photo.

  2. Step 2

Shoot from behind the coach’s shoulder, not the kid’s face in a telling-off

The kind version of “coach conversation” is the crouch, the hand on the shoulder, the listen. Save the hard conversations for the family archive (see Tough moments). Siblings on the sideline: get low, let the game be background.

Pro tip

Mind other kids in the frame. Sharing with the team needs their parent’s yes.
